Professional Regulation of Community Health Workers
Students' project featured at the 11th Annual Medical Education Research Forum, hosted by Baylor University Medical Center.Student interns Thomas Cheung and Deepak Muthyala, from Texas A&M Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine, explored the role of community health workers in improving care delivery and access during their summer research with the institute. Cheung presented their findings as a poster board at the Forum, earning first place in the medical student category.

• Orientation: Held during the first week in Fort Worth
• Final presentations: Held in person at the end of the program

Yes, this is a paid internship. Compensation is based on your academic level, as outlined by the Texas A&M University School of Law.
We welcome graduate students who are:
• Enrolled in health, law, medicine, public health, or related programs
• Interested in health policy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and improving access to care
