We are proud to serve as the collaborative Texas A&M home where ideas take shape, partnerships thrive and solutions for expanded access to care are created. Our mission is rooted in the Aggie tradition of service: bringing people together to improve the health and well-being of communities across Texas, the nation and the world. Established in 2023 in Fort Worth by the Texas A&M Board of Regents, the institute represents a collaboration among Texas A&M University Health Science Center (Texas A&M Health), the Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine, and the School of Law. We serve as a hub—in North Texas and beyond—for expertise in health policy, law, and ethics. Our work supports faculty, staff and students at Texas A&M University, as well as community and state partners, health systems and organizations, and health-law groups. Our work is guided by four core priorities: collaborative research, interdisciplinary and interprofessional education, clinical and community service, and convening. We champion innovation and teamwork to achieve better health outcomes. Through strategic partnerships, grants and cross-disciplinary projects, we seek to amplify the insights of those researching critical topics, help inform policies, unite individuals and groups, and shape pathways toward stronger, healthier communities for generations to come. Thank you for visiting. We invite you to explore our site and discover how we can serve as a trusted partner and resource to you.
